Father’s Day is here and it’s another reason to celebrate. Whether he’s into the classics like an Old Fashioned or prefers a new take on tequila with bright flavours, we have something to toast to the special men in your life.

RECIPES

Pomelo Chili Paloma Cocktail

1/8 tsp chili powder
3 oz freshly squeezed pomelo or pink grapefruit juice
1 tbs freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 oz tequila
2 oz soda water

 

 

 








All Spruced Up

1.5 oz Forager
0.5 oz Affino Aperitivo
0.25 oz Sweet Vermouth
0.5 oz Lemon Juice
0.5oz Spruce and Juniper Syrup

Shaken with ice and garnish with a lemon wheel and spruce sprig

 

 

New York Sour cocktail


New York Sour

3 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
1 oz. simple syrup
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz. cabernet sauvigon

Pour cocktail into the glass, pour cab over the back of your spoon.

 









Ardbeg

1.5 oz Ardbeg 10YO
2 oz of Marshmallow orgeat
1/4 oz Verjus
3 dashes of Bergamot bitters 

Marshmallow orgeat: scorch 8-10 marshmallows using a gas stove or a torch, add them to 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, add 2 drops of rose water and a pinch of salt. Heat up until the marshmallows are dissolved and the milk is heated. In a bar shaker combine the marshmallow orgeat, Ardbeg, Verjus and Bergamot bitters. Add ice and stir until chilled. Double strain into a glass. 

 

 

The Estate Old Fashioned 

Ingredients
2.5 oz 12 year old rare casks
1/2 oz sugar syrup
1 dash peychaud’s bitters
2 dashes angostura bitters
2 dashes orange bitters
Orange peel (garnish)
