This week in our Women Who Lead series, Bay Street Bull is taking a step back to look at our previously featured female founders who have been leading the masses by being innovators in their field.

Kira Talent, uses machine learning to eliminate instances of bias and inequality that have been shown to influence college admissions. Kira Talent has quickly become one of Canada’s fastest growing ventures with partnerships including academic centres of excellence like Yale. 

Since being featured, Cushman has received further recognition on the world stage. Cushman was recognized by Forbes magazine last year in their top thirty under thirty category. In 2012 the duo co-founded Bridgit Solutions, a construction-management software company.

Since being featured in Bay Street Bull’s 2019 30 x 30 issue, Bridgit Solutions projected $4 million in revenue. With recognition from media giants such as Vogue, Coveteur and Fashionista.com, Kastor and Pollux has been on the up and up since its inception. 

Most recently, Roche has been featured in Marketing Magazine as an innovator and continues her quest for knowledge as a Faculty Advisor with Sheridan College. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Taran and Bunny Ghatrora

The B.C. natives have expanded their line to include products that cater to teenager’s changing bodies. 

Although a young start-up company, these female founders have achieved an incredible amount of success. So what’s next for the powerful duo? Since being featured on the Today show, late last year their operation has been full speed ahead. 

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic Blume has committed to utilizing their supply chain resources to donate 10,000 masks to front line medical workers. The real-time personal health data platform, stream-lines patient medical records in a secure and simple way. 

Since being featured in Bay Street Bull’s 30 x 30 Idrees has received Excellence Canada’s award for Excellence in Innovation and Wellness. Idrees continues to passionately give back to her community as Board Director for TechGirls Canada, Ontario MD, and the Sinai Health System’s Business Innovation and Development and Operations Committees.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Alyssa Bertram” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:20|text_align:left|color:%23ffffff” css=”.vc_custom_1586980375452{background-color: #d1bbe8 !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”17206″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Alyssa Bertram founded Easy in 2016 simply because she felt periods and the sourcing of feminine hygiene products should be easy and ethical. 

Easy removes shame from periods, providing organic, ethically made and sourced period products by delivery. Five percent of all proceeds go to supporting girls in Kenya. Since last year this female founder has continued her mission to improve women’s health and wellness awareness.

Based in Toronto, Winterlight Labs is a technology  company that quickly and accurately detects signs of cognitive impairment from a sample of speech. The company has received wide spread recognition for its work in cognitive health research.

Most recently the company has paired up with Vivoryan to conduct a clinical trial in Alzheimer’s Disease
