Immersive van Gogh Experience will soon be ready for Torontonians.

The opening of Immersive van Gogh is set for July 1, 2020; or as soon as  health and government officials deem it is safe to open.  General admission tickets are on sale now, starting at $34.99 CAD for the walk-in experience. To date, the available tickets have been sold to 70 percent. Tickets are still available with dates extended into September 2020, pending extension depending on public demand.

“We are optimistic that cultural venues and destinations will soon be able to open to larger gatherings; and we are taking every measure to ensure that our patrons will be able to fully engross themselves in the incredible scale and visual impact of the art, film and sound experience –without worrying about social distancing,” said Svetlana Dvoretsky, co-producer, Lighthouse Immersive.

The premiere will be followed by the limited time drive-in preview, Gogh by Car, that sold-out within 24 hours. The installation officially opens on June 18th and will run until the 28th. Canadians who purchased tickets to the drive-in now have additional access to the walk-in exhibition with their original purchase.

The wait list for Gogh by Car currently sits at 3,000 people.

The exhibition featured curated images from van Gogh’s vast catalogue; including the Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885) to the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), and La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889). Italian film producer Massimiliano Siccardi is the creative director; with original music by multimedia composer Luca Longobardi, who is renowned for bringing together classical and contemporary genres.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
