Toronto driving club, RCLUB, opened the garage doors of its 6,000 square foot clubhouse to the public for the first-time in Leaside last week.

More than 250 prospective members and curious car lovers stopped in to get a look at RCLUB’s first acquisitions, like an original BMW (E30) M3 in ‘Evolution 3’ specification, an original 1992 and brand-new Acura NSX and a Porsche 911 (964) Cabriolet. Set against an industrial backdrop on Commercial Road, guests pored over blueprints and renderings of the garage-style Clubhouse’s future design while enjoying great music, complimentary stone-oven pizzas, cold brew coffee and craft beer.

RCLUB is a drivers’ club where Members have access to an ever-changing fleet of driver-focused cars and a Toronto Clubhouse where they can enjoy unique automotive events, share experiences and continued learning with a passionate, like-minded community.

RCLUB’s tiered membership model is based on annually purchased credits that are redeemed for driving. Members simply use their credits to check the cars in and out like library books. The club’s collection of cars will evolve and grow over time.  A schedule of RCLUB’s Clubhouse and Member events will include track days, tours, rallies, community builds, and a whole lot more.

RCLUB CEO and co-founder, Adam Westland, shared with guests the story of how RCLUB became a reality for him and his two founding partners.

“We’re here because we love to drive and we crave diverse driving experiences,” said Westland. “RCLUB is a driver-centric club that brings together people who share a passion for driving and it’s the solution that gives each of us a chance to drive a range of cars that would be impractical for one person to own.”
