Canada Has a Seat at Chef’s Table

For more than a decade, Netflix’s Chef’s Table has inspired food lovers to travel the world, introducing audiences to the chefs and restaurants behind some of today’s most sought-after dining experiences. The Emmy-nominated series has helped elevate culinary destinations by spotlighting the stories and craftsmanship behind some of the world’s most influential chefs, turning many featured restaurants into bucket-list destinations for diners.

This summer, that world is coming to life and Canada will be part of it.

From August 13 to 16, the inaugural Chef’s Table Festival will take over Park City, Utah, bringing together more than 70 chefs from around the world. The festival is designed to celebrate not only exceptional food but also the culture and storytelling that define modern gastronomy.

Unlike a traditional tasting festival, the event is built around smaller, chef-led experiences. Guests can book collaborative dinners, chef pop-ups, cooking demonstrations and intimate conversations with many of the chefs featured throughout the series. The format is intended to create meaningful connections between chefs and guests while showcasing the diversity of today’s global food scene.

Canadian chefs Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson of Restaurant Pearl Morissette are among those invited to cook at the event, joining an international lineup that includes Francis MallmannAndreas CaminadaPía LeónFranco Pepe and Sean Brock

Restaurant Pearl Morissette is located in Ontario’s Niagara wine region and is known for its seasonal tasting menus built around ingredients sourced from local farmers and producers. Over the past several years, the restaurant has become a destination for diners travelling to the region and has been recognized as one of Canada’s leading fine dining restaurants.

At the Chef’s Table Festival, chefs Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson will cook alongside chefs from around the world during a series of collaborative dinners and special events. The festival marks the first time Netflix’s Chef’s Table has been brought to life in this format, with chefs from across the series gathering in one place. For Restaurant Pearl Morissette, it is an opportunity to showcase its cuisine to an international audience as the festival makes its debut.
