Continuing September’s calendar of festivities, GLORY Media hosted another installment of Mission Critical: The Bold Conversations live podcast series, presented by Veuve Clicquot.

The first of the series to be held in Vancouver, Editor-in-Chief Lance Chung welcomed Sundays Furniture co-founder Barbora Samieian as the guest of honour, along with a crowd of the city’s entrepreneurial and creative set, at Carlino located inside the Shangri-La Hotel.

Guests were greeted with a welcome glass of champagne and light fare as they kicked off the mingling and networking portion of the evening. A vibrant assembly of entrepreneurs, innovative minds, and top-level executives circulated the opulent room, adorned with cognac leather banquets and mirrored coves.

Prior to the interview, Chung shared some key messaging around the new Veuve Clicquot BOLD Open Database, the first free, global open database which lists and gives visibility to women entrepreneurs globally.

During the live podcast, Samieian shared her entrepreneurial journey, experience working for the United Nations, and advice to others on how to build and scale a business.
