We believe in supporting Canadian products, not for the sake of it, but because our nation boasts some of the finest brands and designers in the world. This week, feel like a “Canadian Stereotype” in this authentically made athleisure gear.

Province of Canada is a story of love — a love for quality products, graphic design, and Canada. The all-Canadian clothing brand was conceptualized with the mission to use the best textiles and production facilities available in Canada to create a 100% Canadian brand through and through.

Founded by Jeremy Watt and Julia Brown after meeting in Montreal, the now married duo decided to quit their jobs and create a Canadian brand with the challenging goal of manufacturing every product locally and in the country.

The brand name is a nod to Central Canadian history, when Upper and Lower Canada merged to form the United Province of Canada. Coincidentally, Watt was raised in Southern Ontario, and Brown in a small township in Quebec.

This month, the Toronto-based line of muted basics (and so much more) is one of three Canadian companies vying for The Molson Partnership, a prize for a $50,000 grant with Molson. It is the only Ontario-based finalist still in the running for this opportunity to expand their business.

Instagram will load in the frontend.

The finalists were selected based on their innovation, growth and the potential. While the final decision will be made by a distinguished panel of industry veterans, the public will have the opportunity to cast their votes for the favourite at Molson.ca
